🚀 Seeking Talented Actors for a Historical Drama! 🚀

We are casting two key roles for the staged reading of The Two Codys, a historical “what if” drama imagining a fictional meeting between Buffalo Bill Cody and Samuel Cody in 1892 London. The story explores legacy, identity, and the price of fame.

ROLES:

BUFFALO BILL CODY (Male, 40s-60s)

🔹 Legendary showman, rugged yet charismatic.
🔹 Witty and larger-than-life, but beneath the bravado, he’s a man wrestling with the myth of his own making.
🔹 Must be able to carry a commanding stage presence.
🔹 Some familiarity with Western-style mannerisms and speech patterns is a plus.
🔹 Accent: American (Midwestern/Frontier)

MAUD CODY (Female, 20s-40s)

🔹 Samuel Cody’s strong-willed and intelligent wife.
🔹 She’s his biggest supporter but isn’t afraid to challenge him.
🔹 Graceful, sharp-witted, and deeply loyal, she is the voice of reason when Samuel’s ambition clouds his judgment.
🔹 Accent: American or English (slight British lilt is a plus but not required)

💡 Actors should be comfortable with period drama and strong dialogue-driven scenes.
