Synopsis:

Meet the forgotten legend among gunfighters: Austin Marshal Ben Thompson. In a world filled with names like Earp, Masterson, Hickok, and Holliday, Thompson stands as a revered and feared figure, earning the respect of even the most renowned gunslingers. Born in England, he immigrates to Texas as a child and eventually joins the Confederacy to defend his beloved state. Rising through the ranks, Thompson becomes the Marshal of Austin.

Our story begins a year into his tenure when a violent encounter with a prominent San Antonio businessman leaves the man dead. Though acquitted of murder, Thompson is forced to flee the town. However, upon his triumphant return to Austin, he is hailed as a hero, greeted with a grand celebration featuring a band, a parade, and the adoration of half the city's population.

Later, acting in his capacity as Marshal of Austin, Thompson assists the renowned Wyatt Earp in his pursuit of the ruthless outlaw Johnny Ringo. To accomplish this dangerous mission, Thompson enlists the aid of two equally legendary gunfighters, Bat Masterson and Uvalde County Sheriff John King Fisher. Their ranks are further bolstered by the addition of Zachary, a Native American character specially written for Academy Award winner Wes Studi, who expressed interest in the role upon reading the initial script. Together, this formidable group embarks on a journey that will test their bonds and forge a deep friendship rooted in blood and honor.

However, tragedy awaits Thompson upon his return to San Antonio alongside his loyal friend, John King Fisher. Despite his attempts at reconciliation, he is mercilessly assassinated in a Vaudeville theater box, met with a barrage of a hundred bullets.
